1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Okiba (the Service), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Okiba provides appointment scheduling for businesses, especially salons and beauty professionals. The Service integrates with Google Calendar to manage bookings.

3. User Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete registration information and to keep your password secure.

4. Subscription and Payments

Free trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial without a credit card. Unsubscribed trial business data is scheduled for deletion 90 days after the trial expires. No payment is collected automatically at the end of the trial.

Pricing: After the trial, the first location with two staff costs $10 USD per month. Each additional location with two more staff costs $10 per month; each extra staff seat beyond the included seats costs $5 per month.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months of service.

Website measurement and privacy choices

With your permission, Okiba measures marketing page visits, signup clicks, registration starts and completed registrations. Records contain a random session identifier, page paths, timestamps, referrer origins, device categories, campaign parameters such as UTM values and Google Ads click IDs, and a hashed account identifier for linked registrations. They exclude passwords, form contents, names, email addresses and phone numbers.

Choose Decline to use Okiba without acquisition measurement. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable it. Privacy choices lets you withdraw consent and request deletion of the current browser session. Session identifiers expire after 30 minutes of inactivity; consent choices and acquisition records are retained for up to 90 days with scheduled cleanup. Google measurement has separate retention settings. Contact service@okiba.net to request deletion of account-associated acquisition records.

6. Use of Google Data

Okiba requires access to Google Calendar. We read and write events only in the calendar you choose. We do not share calendar data with third parties except as needed to provide the Service. Google services are required for this functionality; Okiba is not responsible for problems with those services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Okiba is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses resulting from use of the Service.

Financial responsibility: Okiba only provides scheduling technology and payment integration. It is not a party to transactions between businesses and customers and is not responsible for transactions, refunds, disputes, chargebacks or financial losses. Resolve issues about goods or services directly with the business. Businesses handle refunds and payment disputes in their own Stripe dashboard.

8. Data Usage and Research

Okiba may use Service data for research, analysis and product improvement, in compliance with applicable privacy standards. Personal information will be handled, protected or anonymized as required.

9. Changes to Terms

We may change these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or through the Service.
